Offering beef, pork, eggs, chicken, raw milk and many other locally sourced products in our Members Market located here on the farm. All of our animals are raised out in the open as we believe they should be. Knowing where your food comes from and how it was raised is very important to us. Everything on our farm is raised all natural in an open environment but to keep costs down we have decided no

📚🦴 First Day Back REALLY of Homeschool! 🦴📚

We’ve been doing math and reading all summer, but today was officially our first day back to ALL the subjects! And we’re kicking off the semester with a fun and interesting topic: the human body! 🫀🧠🦴

Of course, homeschooling on a farm means our science lessons can be pretty hands-on! This morning, LaKota went out into the field and found the bone pictured here—so naturally, it became part of today’s lesson. 😂

We are SO blessed to live on a farm where learning can happen everywhere—in the classroom, in the field, with our animals, and right in the middle of everyday life. ♥️

🙏 As we begin another homeschool year, I’m praying over our school year—for patience, wisdom, curiosity, and lots of joy as we learn and grow together. ❤️

There’s something special about serving a breakfast you know exactly where every ingredient came from. ❤️

This morning I added our sliced deli ham to LaKota’s scrambled eggs, and it was a huge hit! As a mama, there’s not much more I could ask for than watching my kids enjoy a hearty breakfast made with food we’ve raised ourselves or sourced from people we completely trust.

🥓 Breakfast taste test update…

It’s a hit here! 🙌 We still have a soft spot for traditional pork bacon, but this beef bacon was pretty darn good. It crisped up beautifully and has a rich, savory flavor that’s definitely worth trying.

On today’s plate:
🥚 Farm-fresh eggs from our hens
🍞 Sandwich bread from Neighborhood Bakehouse (and yes… our bread shelves were restocked yesterday! 🙌)
🥓 Our 100% grass-fed beef bacon
