Cyclospora is a parasite that can cause illness through contaminated food or water. It's often linked to fresh produce like raspberries, basil, cilantro, snow peas, and mixed greens.

The best way to protect yourself is to wash your hands, rinse fresh fruits and vegetables thoroughly, and practice safe food handling. If you've recently eaten contaminated food or think you may have been exposed and are experiencing symptoms, contact your healthcare provider.
