Another great day here at Butterflies and Taxes. We have several projects happening right now. Like a return to our roots preparation of naturally dried herbs.

The owner was only 17 years old when a 100 year old lady and friend told her of this herb. She was taught to use it as a salt alternative. The owner has used it much of her life, and tries to promote it when she can.

Thyme is considered a miracle plant. It is very powerful. We all know the negative benefits of too much salt. Thyme does make a great alternative. It is also powerful antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and cough-relieving properties.

Research has tied it to a cancer aid as well. It helps fight cancer. I helps fight acne, improve immunity and so much more. There is a large patch of wild thyme on the property. Grown completely naturally. We cut, dehydrate on low heat, and grind them up. This is our first 2 ounce batch completed since returning to the property after rebuilding from the fire.
