We're super excited about today's new mute release. Allow me to introduce the BuddhaBelly "BB".
The design of this mute was inspired by a rare and unusual mute that was designed for trumpeter Billy Butterfield, hence the name "BB" - also BuddhaBelly. Don't let its small size fool you. This mute is KILLER! The last pic shows one of the last prototypes along with the original. The original isn't for sale, but our version fixes the problem with it staying in the bell, as well as the low register.

I hate to say something cheesy like this is the Swiss Army knife of cup mutes. Maybe someone can come up with a different way to say the same thing, because it really is.
Comes with 4 cups, completely adjustable. We're really proud of this one.

Employee #2 and I are trying out some new colors and filament types. Still dialing in the PETG CF, but looks promising. Finally found a white filament that's actually opaque white. Looks good, so will likely be adding this color to the regular lineup.
New mute release tomorrow. It will be worth the wait.

Apologies. We missed you all last night. Hopefully, tonight's new mute release makes up for it.
Our BuddhaBelly Wah-Wah is the first mute we re-designed after making the conversion to 3d printing our mutes. I'm just going to make it official, and call this the Flagship of our lineup.
Bigger sound profile than our "Chicago" Wah-Wah, more hum in the lower register, and a bit of rattle to go along with the buzz.

Today's new mute release is the BuddhaBelly "Mel-O-Wah", which is kind of a specialty mute. It sounds somewhere between a Solotone and a Wah-wah mute with the stem. I wanted our version to stand out. Great projection and a nice core. Players compare a Solotone mute to sounding like an oboe. This English horn with our "Mel-O-Wah". We even made it a bit shorter so it's easier to put your hand over the end for those unique Wah-wah effects.

Tonight's new mute release is the one I'm currently using. Our practice mute is the prefect balance between being quiet, playing in tune, and having just the right amount of resistance. No, it's not small enough to fit in the bell of your horn in the case, but it also doesn't play sharp in the low register, and flat in the upper register.
