At Gallery Seven Frame Shop & Fine Art Gallery in Maynard we specialize in Museum Quality Custom Framing and the sale of original fine art by local artists. Every piece is framed on the premises by co-owner Nick Johnson who is also a fine art photographer with more than 25 years of framing experience. You can bring the piece that you need framed to us at Gallery Seven or at no additional charge (M

etro West area only) we can bring frame and mat board samples to your home or office to help you create a frame design that will complement both the artwork and the space. At Gallery Seven the gallery space is not an after thought filled with posters and examples of framing. Gallery Seven has a new exhibition every 2 months with an artists’ reception that is free and open to the public. We understand that many artists are on a tight budget and may not be able to afford custom framing. Therefore, Gallery Seven does not require artists exhibiting with us to use our framing services.

We want to thank everyone for all of their kind words last night as we said our goodbyes as we get ready to retire. We are proud to have been an integral part of the art scene in downtown Maynard for the past 16 years. We put on 6 exhibitions a year and showed outstanding work from local artists. I am very proud to have created and run both the Holiday Stroll and the Spring ArtWalk for 10 years which are still going strong today. Thank You Maynard💞

Well, today I went grocery shopping for the last time for one of our receptions. On Saturday Nov. 23rd from 4 to 6pm we will have our last and final party at Gallery Seven Frame Shop & Fine Art Gallery

I’m reminiscing about all of the artist receptions we have had over the years. I don’t love cooking day-to-day, but I do love to throw a party💃, and I had an absolute blast catering all of the receptions.

This is MY art form. Here’s just a snippet of some of the delectable goodies I’ve made over the years🥰.

Today we said goodbye to one of our BEST and FAVORITE clients, .home.interiors! Stephanie stopped in to pick up her frame job, our very LAST, and then we had a champagne toast and chatted for an hour. We’ve been collaborating together for 9 years. She’s an incredible interior designer and we will miss working with her. We plan on staying in touch since we both live in this quaint little town called 🥰

We’ve just returned from our friend’s fundraising event at The White Room in .

Cesar Rodrigues is an amazing artist and we are so happy to support him in his his efforts to raise money to help empower other artists with disabilities to create art 🎨!

Cesar conceptualized a machine that will help him and other disabled artists to paint. He has partnered with Easterseals Massachusetts who will be building two machines, one for himself and one for Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children.

We purchased one of Cesar’s stunning paintings tonight. All of the proceeds from the sale will go towards the building of these machines, aptly titled the Abstract Beast!
