Closed out the day with a Judy Davis Brent Jewelry Collage Class! These are seriously addicting… once you start rooting around in the jewelry trays, you’re hooked!

It’s always fun to watch the creative process unfold… the intense concentration of the participants, and the comradery that immediately develops between acquaintances and strangers when each are in search of JUST the right piece and everyone keeps an eye out… So fun 🤗

Thank you for coming today, ladies. You created some lovely art and it sounds like everyone wants to make more! THAT is a successful Art Class!

Judy. What can I say. You’re simply the sweetest, kindest, gentlest soul. Thank you for blessing so many people in our Community by taking the time to teach. You have brought so much joy. Thank you 😊

It was a full day at the Guild starting with another great Alcohol Ink Painting class with Joyce Ray! Fun to watch the canvases fill up and the tables get messier! That’s creativity happening 🤗

Good morning! ☀️☕️

Three weeks ago I submitted my resignation as the Art Director for the Guild, with my last day as Saturday, June 13th. We are closed today, but I will be there all day tomorrow for the last of our two scheduled classes - Joyce Ray’s Alcohol Ink Painting from 10am-Noon, and Judy Davis Brent’s Jewelry Collage from 1-3pm! After that you might just find me at the Farmers Market with my own Art. 🙂

I will miss you all, and wish nothing but success to the Guild and all of our talented Artists as they move forward.

Update: TWO SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR SATURDAY!
So… for all of you who have been anxiously awaiting the next Judy Davis Brent JEWELRY COLLAGE CLASS, it is THIS Saturday, June 13th from 1-3pm! This will be the last one for a while, so if you’ve been wanting to attend one of her popular, very fun classes, comment below to secure your spot! 🤗

Judy will instruct this Beginners Jewelry Collage class by demonstrating how to properly apply the backing, and how to clean and prepare the jewelry. She will then guide you as you build your collage 💎💍👑

All supplies included! - 5x7 finished backer board and all the jewelry you will need to complete your piece (which you can then frame at home).

Just bring your creative self (and some heavy wire cutters if you have them) and be ready to have a wonderful time!

Cost is $45/person

Attendees! Don’t forget your Acrylic Bird Painting Class with Artist, Mark Ray is on Saturday from 10-Noon (may go longer)!

And also don’t forget to bring the photo or picture from a magazine that you chose to fit onto either an 8x10 or 5x7 canvas! (If you haven’t chosen yet, we have some Bird Books here at the Guild). Mark will show you how to trace and transfer your chosen bird onto the canvas, then instruct and paint along with you while you learn the techniques and detailing of eyes, beaks, feathers etc. until you have a completed painting!
