Hey family,

It is with great sadness that I am here to inform all of you that Connor passed away at 9:45am today. He did not suffer and was not in pain.

Connor loved all of you so much. The years we spent building this community were some of his best. He thrived being in that shop with all of you. And knowing how many lives he touched and brought joy to is one of the greatest legacies he leaves behind. There is a saying, "What is Remembered, Lives". And with all the memories you each have of him, he will never truly be gone from us. I would ask, if you would, to each leave a comment of a memory you have of Connor. I plan to make a memorial book of them for close friends and family.

Connor was always a very giving person and through science and hope, he was able to continue that into his death by donating his eyes so that someone else out there will be able to see. He always said there was so much of the world still to see, and now he will still be able to. We would ask that, if you are able, you share in his memory by making a donation to Hospice of Cincinnati. They made his passing easy and painless and have been invaluable to us these last few days. They are the oldest Hospice Organization in the country and are non for profit, so that anyone in need can also have a peaceful end to their life. We ask that for now, you let us grieve. Please keep condolences to this post. Connor's wish was to be cremated, but there will be a memorial service at his church at a later date. We would love to see all of you there, to share in his memory. Next time you sit down to game, roll a die for him and remember the love of gaming and life he shared with all of us.

And the fun times just keep on rolling up to our front door! Star Tycoon just came in, and oh, man, am I excited for this one.

A new twist on your classic Engine Builder, Star Tycoon features tons of new ideas in unique redesigns of classic mechanics. First and foremost being the player driven, supply and demand resource market that adds an interesting means to get ahead by buying low and selling high. But watch out! Your opponents are also playing the market and a single turn could change your big play into scraps! You can also cut corners by utilizing trade buildings, creating partnerships to get free developments and even produce illegal goods 😱

And we're back! With another one of those kickstarters we backed before we closed the shop. For your delight today, we have Botany: A Victorian Expedition from Dux Somnium. Compete against your fellow adventurers in this Victorian era flower hunting expedition. Race to find the most rare specimens and create the best greenhouse around. But be aware! Flower hunting is expensive and if you can't afford to pay your expedition members, you could be out of the running all together!

If you're interested, please send me a message through the shop page. Note that commenting on this post does not reserve a copy! I must have direct contact with you. This will also be first come, first served. Once I've seen and responded to your message with the information on cost, payment methods, etc, you'll have 4 hours to give me a firm yes or no before I move on to the next person.

And finally, if you missed out on our last two kickstarters we had available, I do still have a couple copies of both Fractured Sky, which I've gotten to play now and it is wonderful, as well as Ninja Sloths, which is just a blast!

Hey family,

Wow. Has it truly been 2 months since I updated you? Crazy how time slides right on by.

Connor is doing very well! It's taken us a while to get here, but he is finally eating well, we're no longer supplementing his nutrition with the feeding tube most nights and are even considering removing it next week! It's currently causing a lot of pain and discomfort for Connor and since he's not really using it and is able to get all of his nutrition orally now, well, better out than in they say.

He's adjusting well to the new chemo. It was initially causing a lot of, let's say, added bathroom time for him, but we're starting to move past it and that was honestly his only major side effect. He's able to move more and be more active now as well (when the pain from the tube isn't too horrible). He's even regaining weight WHILE on chemo!

So our boy is finally doing well and hoping to even start back with some part time work in the near future.

In other Kitsu family news, Miss Eleanor has her first boyfriend! The two them are absolutely adorable together. They had their first date last weekend to one of their favorite restraunts: McDonald's - but it had to be the one with a play place. She's also officially 1/4 inch taller than me *sigh*

I'm finally making strides in my Healthcare and finding doctors who listen and understand what I'm saying. Hopefully an update on that soon, once I jump through a few dozen hoops to see an EDS specialist. While I'm currently very limited in my mobility due to my right knee not liking taking my weight, it is pushing me forward to new specialists and doctors and that is a very good thing. Biggest discovery: I don't have osteoarthritis. Or any notable arthritic changes in my joints. Which has led to the question: what's wrong with my joints then?

Answers are coming, slowly. So we currently have me set up in the recovery zone (a.k.a the basement) where I can maintain a lot more independence by having access to food, a walk in shower with built in seats, etc. And I can more easily socialize instead of being stuck in my room.

Anna is doing an amazing job running around and taking care of all of us. We each do what we can to help her out, but she is absolutely the MVP right now, so major shout out to her! She still struggles with her own health issues, but with no more ovaries holding her back, she is giving 2000%!

And... that's about it. We are finally starting to be able to look to the future and start making plans more than a week out. And the future is looking brighter than ever.

Your love and support through all of this has made so much of an impact. I have your words hanging on our walls, reminding us to never give up. And to always, Stay in the Light.
