We have been protecting another finch nest here at Wildflower.

Little baby's brother/sister has already flown the nest, and they are building up the courage to do so next...

You can hear mom singing her songs of encouragement from the pergola above.

What a beautiful experience it has been protecting these innocent creatures this spring/summer.

We currently have 2 other active nests that we will try to update on as much as we can without disturbing them 💖

Pollinator Plant Spotlight:
Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’, commonly known as hummingbird mint, blooms from mid-summer into fall making it a perfect addition when your spring blooms have all faded away. This plant has the yummy licorice scent and attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and countless other pollinators. It can reach 2-3’ with the flower spikes, but keeps a tidy 2’ habit. This is a very long-blooming perennial that wants full sun and can tolerate cold winters. Flowers can be used as cut-flowers and doing this will encourage an even longer bloom time! We have this and other late-season perennials available at Wildflower for 10 bucks! We are open M-F 8-5 and Sat 9-5. Feed the hummingbirds!
