Keith and Candi Scheiderer have lived at Scheiderer Farms for 32 years- their entired married life- and are the 4th generation to call this farm home. It is located distant from the road providing beautiful views of the countryside and a sense of peaceful tranquility. Until 12 years ago, the farm was home to a dairy farm complete with a large vegetable garden and apple trees. One cannot overlook t

he largest gardens-fields of grain and soybeans- which are still maintained by Keith's son and brother. But in keeping with Keiths bachelor in science in agronomy and his love for growing, the farm evolved into a full service greenhouse.

Our favorite summertime grilling side!

Michael loves our Patio Pot-a-Peno for his Cowboy Candy! He puts these candied jalapeños on everything - especially in the summer with every grilled meat!

Keith and Candi love the Sweet Heat peppers for fermented peppers and salsa! The sliced fermented peppers are delicious on their homemade pizza.

Our benches are FULL! Since we grow just about everything here, we grow in cycles. This means there are multiple crops of fresh, healthy plants stocked, spaced, tidy, and ready to go. Shopping in our garden center feels like creating and designing a painting like an artist, we have it laid out and ready for you.

THIS Saturday, June 6th, it’s YOUR day here at Scheiderer Farms Garden Center! We have done this for many years, and it is one of our favorite traditions. Keith is going to fire up the grill, Michael will *try* to share the DQ ice cream, and we will have more in-store to show our appreciation. Meet our great flower friends, Pam & Jon! They shared with us a sweet story of their patio tomato “Little Napoli” they got last year, and it is an urban gardening tradition for them now!

They keep this delicious tomato up on their deck by the grill, and enjoyed a harvest ALL SUMMER long! Pam said it even became a game to see how many tomatoes they could find each night!
