Friends of Clift Rodgers Library created a lovely tribute in memory of Deb Comeau. Please stop in to enjoy a small sampling of her watercolors. Deb often designed the flyers for our garden tour, silent auction, and various other events. Deborah was a wonderful addition to the CRL family and served many roles over the years. Most currently she was a shop manager and volunteer. We will miss her sweet smile.

Wonderful afternoon at the Duxbury Senior Center for discussion of the book Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocum! Brendan joined via Zoom, answered questions and even played his violin for us! We cried at his vulnerability; he cried at our praise. This is the best book I’ve read this year. (Dianne M)

The CRL has a new Summer Reading Program for children and adults, beginning June 28 thru August 30. This year’s theme is mini-golf, with one hole per week. Kids will receive one plastic golf ball for each book read to try to score a hole-in-one at our putting green in the library. We will keep a score board at the library. Adults will also be competing for number of books read, miniature golf will be optional. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the summer.

It’s finally back, the gardens are beautiful, and we can’t wait to have you come wander through to see and enjoy them! Tickets are available at Nessrallas, the Sr Center, Marshfield Hills General Store, CRL, and Roche Bros. If you need transportation, sign up at the Senior Center for the bus. 💐
