Alright, the shop is back up and running and everything has been sorted out. Thank you for being so patient! New hooks are going to be listed soon and I'll be back on track with my postings and showing off my newest hooks!

While the shop was getting fixed, I went back and reflected on some of my reviews from my amazing supporters. You all are seriously the best and so motivating with each review.

While I get this set of hooks to my tester, what do you want to see in the shop? Carved hooks like the tentacles, rustic hooks with bark, hooks with wood burned art on them, or keep on doing a mix of it all? I value your opinions and want to give the best to my supporters.

Hello my wonderful followers. I have to apologize for my absence as of lately. I decided to take a small break and broadend my creative side and I took some classes in forge crafting! It has been a lot of fun and i have been able to combine my love for wood carvings by making my own handles for the knives I have made. During this break, etsy and my bank account came across some issues. Until I can get this resolved, my shop is currently down. I still have hooks available and am still carving more so message me for more info. I greatly appreciate your patience and your support as always.

I want to apologize for the lack of hooks in your feed. Due to work, lack of good signal at home, and my tester (who takes most of the pictures when she tests them) having phone problems, it has been very difficult to get posts made and listings up in the shop. Please continue to be patient while we get things fixed. Until then, enjoy this beautiful 6mm lichen red cedar hook.

I love when I have the opportunity to leave as much of nature as I can on my hooks. When lichen is this preserved it just adds so much character to the hook. It looks like something from a fairytale and I hope whoever gets it will feel the same way when they use it to create their beautiful works.

Got another rustic red cedar hook going in the shop soon. This one is adorned with a very simple arrow wood burned onto the handle. Size 6mm. Works great with thick yarns like the Aron weight Merino yarn pictured. Hand dyed by the awesome .

I love how well the lichen preserves on these bark on red cedar hooks! These two are both a size 6mm and will be listed in the shop later this week.

This the season for gifting and enjoying time with family! Who wouldn't want to receive this beautiful hook at Christmas?

You pick the size hook you want and then you won't know what it looks like until you get it. It may a dark red, it may have spalting like the hooks pictured, it may even have a burl on it.

How about the burl on this hook. I must say I fell in love with the character of this branch and just couldn't bring myself to carving it out. While the hook is treated with a wax/oil mixture to keep the wood smooth and protected, I used a clear coat on the burl. I didn't want it to be rough or catch on any of your works so I took the extra time to apply many layers of clear coat to this area. Keep an eye out for it in the shop later today.

I love the not knowing when I carve a hook. From the outside it's just a stick, but take away the bark and you reveal so much about the branch it once was. Everywhere you look at this hook shows another little hint at the life of this branch. My favorite is the tiny spot on the handle leftover from a worm living inside of this tree. Swpie to see every angle of this beauty.
