If you need me, I’ll be washing, drying, de-pitting, and slicing peaches for the foreseeable future! 🍑

We picked up a bunch of fresh Georgia peaches, and they smell amazing and taste even better. I’ll be busy freeze-drying all week so we can have plenty ready for the Marshall Farmers Market in July.

Freeze-dried peaches are one of our favorite summer treats. 😋

🍓 Need a fun snack to make with freeze-dried strawberries? 🍓

I made this Strawberry Shortcake Puppy Chow using our freeze-dried strawberries, and it was so easy and delicious! 😋

It turned out a little powdery, but honestly, that’s not a bad thing. I scooped some of the extra strawberry powder with bits of white chocolate into my protein shake for an extra burst of flavor, and it was AMAZING! 💕

Ingredients:
• 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
• 1 large box strawberry Jello mix
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1½ cups white chocolate chips
• ¼ cup melted butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries

Make just like you would regular puppy chow. I mixed the powdered sugar and jello mix together and melted the butter and chips together of course. If you try it, let me know what you think! What else have you made with freeze dried fruits?🍓✨

Where are my asparagus lovers?! 🌱

Limited quantities available! Freeze-dried asparagus… and wow, it’s SO good. Crispy, flavorful, and honestly hard to stop eating once you start. These are seasoned with Himalayan sea salt plus a garlic & herb seasoning blend, and the flavor turned out amazing. Not sure why I didn’t try this sooner!

This asparagus was all picked yesterday and today near Marshall, and I’ll be washing, cutting, freezing, and freeze-drying it all today so it stays fresh and delicious.

I don’t have any events until mid-June, so if you’d like some before then, send me a message and we can make arrangements for pickup or delivery.

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

Our freeze dryers are officially on their way back home, which means we’ll soon be back to making all kinds of fun, sweet treats!

FedEx tracking says they’ll arrive Monday… but I’m fully expecting that little “delayed” notification to pop up any minute now.

Either way — we’re getting SO close to firing them up again and filling bags with all the crunchy goodness! Stay tuned… the treats will be back soon! Stay safe out there!

Well… time for another LCC Sweets update 😅

In my last post I mentioned that one of our freeze dryers was down.

Plot twist…

It wasn’t one.

It was BOTH. 🤦‍♀️😂

Instead of spiraling over the $600 shipping bill to send them in under warranty, I’m choosing gratitude because honestly…

• It’s our off-season 🙌
• They’re covered under the 3-year warranty (THANK YOU, LORD 🙏)
• We’re paying $600 in shipping — not $8,000 for two new machines 😳
• And we should have them back in 4–5 weeks, just in time to start fresh batches of candy, fruits, and veggies 🍓🍬

What luck we have, right?!

It truly could be so much worse.

So for now, I’ll just be over here dreaming about all the crazy things I want to experiment with freeze-drying when they get back 😆
