Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, friends!

Eliot finally got her copy of ”What Should I Dream Tonight?” for Christmas. I read it to her with my best narration voice, tears in my eyes, & warmth in my heart. At the end I asked her if she liked it, she promptly replied, ”no…” and ran to her new bounce house.

Ya win some, ya lose some. She did ask for it again later on. 🤷🏼‍♀️♥️

200 books in just over 6 weeks!

Grateful is an understatement, but thank you all SO much for supporting me in this adventure! This was a goal I had set for December of 2023 when I hit “publish” on November 5th— and we have already exceeded that since I started making this post.

Thank you, Blake, for holding down the fort while I wrote for the last 6 weeks straight.
Thank you to my parents for inspiring me to always follow my dreams.

Teacher turned mother turned author— making magic of the world around me.

Hi, everyone! I am Ariella, founder of The Lobo Library. I am an educator, wife, mother, and author located in Texas. I have always had a passion for writing, and in 2022 I finally published several children’s books I’ve written over the years. Then I thought to myself, “why not share this joy with others and let them be the main character for a change?” I will now be offering classic and customizable storybook options!

My mission is to write engaging stories that are sentimental yet teach children a life-lesson without it feeling like “work.” I have experience in primary, secondary, and post-secondary education, worked with children from all walks of life, and yet they all have something in common— DREAMS. There is nothing more exciting to a child than seeing their dreams come true before their eyes, and that is the magic I want to provide children with through The Lobo Library!

This is why my motto is “Make Reading Magical,” because it so easily can be.

✨Calling all Mamas, Dads, & Educators!✨

What Am I Feeling?— a book about complex emotions, is a book I made for Blake’s classroom, but is available to anyone in need of teaching social-emotional skills to children.

Children generally grasp generic emotions like happy, sad, and mad very early on, but there is still so much to teach them about the complexities of feelings. By helping your child put a name to what they are experiencing (disgust, excitement, devastation, shame, bravery, curiosity, embarrassment, etc), they will be more equipped to handle themselves with care and treat themselves, and others, with compassion!
