ErnieBug's is named after my son Ernie (it's actually his nickname) who is absolutely one of my greatest joys in life. My ErnieBug has endured many medical setbacks in his life, has struggled through many health issues and still lights up the room with his big toothy grin. He inspires me on a daily basis, so I thought it only fitting that he should be a BIG part of this little store. ErnieBug's is

a shop of jewelry, knick-knacks, this-and-that, wall decor, home items, and "lagniappe" as we say here in Louisiana -- whatever I come up with and feel like making on a particular day! My crafts are usually very simple and are often made from repurposed items--things I've found lying around, things I saw in a store and said, "Hey, this would make a great ____!" Some of my items are made from leftovers we had after some home renovations -- tiles, laminate flooring, trim..... I have a passion for creating, a passion for repurposing instead of throwing away, a passion for spending time with my family, and a passion for paying my mortgage (!); so hopefully ErnieBug's will help me do all of the above! If you see something you like but need it modified in some way, PLEASE shoot me a message with your needs and I will certainly see what I can do about meeting your order.
