Davin's Chocolates The Upper Peninsula's only bean-to-bar chocolate maker. Using organic cocoa beans that are roasted, I'm just a man on a mission to introduce the U.P.

to quality chocolates and treats made locally using premium ingredients that are organic and fair trade whenever possible. I am currently operating out of the Masonic Center's commercial kitchen, using special equipment to grind cocoa beans into chocolates. I created this page to provide information on my products and track my progress. Well this all began lin 2012, when I became curious on how ch

ocolate was made. After a little researching, I became increasingly fascinated with the process and ended up buying a piece of equipment to do so. I found it incredibly appealing to be able to experiment to create custom flavors and combinations of chocolate, by simply using different types of cacao beans from different sources or changing various ratios of ingredients. I also liked that I could find and use ingredients that were bought from farmers at fair market rates and were grown organically free of chemicals. By producing my own chocolate, I would also be able to create special blends based on requests which is truly unique in the chocolate world.
