We are excited to announce that our 2027 Honoree will be Libby Lehman!

Libby Lehman is one of the most talented and creative artists in studio art quilt making— a fine art textile artist, author, speaker, teacher, and judge known for expert craftsmanship, seductive color, spatial complexity, and whimsy. An early innovator with machine quilting and thread embellishment, she helped redefine contemporary quilt making; her quilt, “Joy Ride,” was selected as one of the 100 Best Quilts of the Twentieth Century. Lehman’s over 30 years of teaching brought a rare gift for breaking down complex techniques into simple steps, paired with a warmth that nurtured others& #39; passions. Her influence still touches and inspires the quilt world today.

Celebration for the Induction of Libby Lehman will be on July 15–17th, 2027. Mark your calendars!

Come see our latest exhibit: the quilts of JUDY MARTIN! Judy Martin is our 2026 honoree, and has been quilting since 1969. As a master pattern designer, technician, and teacher, Judy martin has made a name for herself influencing the craft, aesthetics, and industry standards. Her designs are well known for their remarkable artistry and complexity. These quilts will be on display from now until October third, but don’t wait! Her designs are so captivating you might just want to visit again and again!

Come see the quilts of our 2026 inductee: Judy Martin!

Judy Martin made her first quilt in 1969 and was immediately hooked on the art form. Since that time, Martin has been a significant influence in quilting craft, aesthetics, and industry standards. A master pattern designer and technician, her designs are marked by their distinctive complexity and high level of artistry. As a teacher, she empowers her students, while her incredibly detailed books have inspired countless quilters worldwide.

Come see the gorgeous quilts, beautiful fabrics, and helpful supplies we are auctioning off, and be sure to get your bets in! The auction will close at 6:40 PM on FRIDAY, JULY 24TH! Be sure to check on your bets before that!

Join us for the silent and live auctions on Friday July 24, at the Marion Public Library, meeting room B.
Silent auction will end at 6:40 pm, bidding can take place during celebration or 5:30 - 6:40 that evening. You MUST be present at the end to pick up and pay for your items.
Live auction will start at 7:00 pm, and run until 9:00 pm.
