Crochet Instructor Confession Time... 🧶😂

Tonight I sent a class reminder email. To the wrong class.

Within minutes, two students let me know that their class is actually on Wednesday, not Monday.

On the bright side, At least I know people are reading my emails! 😅

The good news:
✅ Monday class met tonight
✅ 14 attendees
✅ Half the class is already working on half double crochet
✅ Several students discovered the magic of stitch markers
✅ We successfully prevented multiple accidental trapezoids

The bad news:
❌ I briefly convinced a few Wednesday students that they had forgotten what day it was.

Thank you to everyone who kindly pointed out my mistake. I'll be reorganizing my contact lists tomorrow... after coffee. ☕

Is there anyone on my local friend list who knits and would volunteer to assist a resident at Emery Place? One of our group members has a knit project she started years ago and would love to finish it and gift it. However, she can't remember the stitch and isn't sure she can still manipulate the needles. Would anyone be interested in coming to Emery Place with me next Thursday morning to meet with Barb and talk to her about helping her finish it off? I'm pretty good with a crochet hook but I still haven't mastered knitting!

When our residents voted on new activities they'd like to see, one idea quickly rose to the top—more opportunities to gather around a hobby they love. Enter Loops & Laughter Yarn Club!

Twice a month, we'll be joined by the coolest gal in town, the one and only Crazy Yarn Lady, as residents come together to knit, crochet, create, and connect. Whether you're picking up a brand-new hobby, rediscovering a favorite pastime, or continuing a craft you've enjoyed for years, there's a seat waiting for you at the table.
