My first "introductory" post 😂 Here's my portrait of . I opened my business 3.5 years ago--2.5 years before I became a mother. Now sometimes I have to wear my beats while printing late night projects because I have a sleeping child in the next room but I really need to blast Alabama Shakes. My husband coaches college soccer, so for 2 weeks out of the year I have to somewhat master the art of single parenting. This week that looked like dragging equipment home so I could after bedtime. Unrelated: my brother in law just returned from and brought me this tank top.

Because the main part of my business is paper and printing, I sometimes feel like my name no longer fits. However, it stems from my deeply rooted love for all things handmade--and the hope that I can always carry and promote beautifully crafted handmade items!

That said, recently I've been swooning over my college friend's small business, Arryn Vogan Pottery. I can't wait to give a few of her pieces as Christmas gifts this year. Today on her blog she posted a video her husband shot of her at the wheel--I love the way it shows just how much work goes into a single mug and how special every piece she makes is. Arryn, I admire you. Keep up the great work!
