Just a quick PSA:

As we work on organizing our Halloween event…the only contacts are Kathy, Joye and Teresa.

The cost for a table is $25 and you will need to use our Google doc to sign up.

We have limited spaces.

Don’t fall for all the scammers who try to advertise for vendors. We had a half dozen last time around.

Attention Authors/Vendors!!! Roving Bookstore Opportunity!!

Who would be interested in splitting up the time to cover a booth at the Van Buren Popcorn Festival?

The dates are August 6, 7 and 8 and we need to commit to manning the booth from 4-10 pm on Thursday and Friday then 11-10 on Saturday.

Please comment below with your availability…I’m thinking 3-4 hour blocks of time would be sufficient.

Roving Bookstore Opportunity!!
Authors!! I have reserved us a spot at Pagan Pride which will take place at the old Lugar Creek campground area on 400 E on July 11th. If you would like to be part of this one (it is obviously outside), just let Teresa know...
We have 1 shelter 10x10 and an 8 foot and 4 foot table. We could easily fit 3 8 foot tables on the perimeter and still be under the shelter.

🎨 America 250 Coloring Contest for Kids!

Bookworm Orchard is celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States (America 250) with a fun, free coloring contest for children!
📅 When: June 15 – July 31, 2026
🕒 Drop-off: During regular store hours Thursday-Saturday 10-6
📍 Where: Bookworm Orchard, 428 S. Washington St., Marion, Indiana (Boston Hill Center)
Kids of all ages are invited to pick up a special America 250-themed coloring page.
How to Enter:
• Color your page at home or in our cozy bookstore reading nook
• Bring it back to Bookworm Orchard by the deadline
• All entries will be displayed in the store during our celebration month!
One lucky participant will win a $20 gift certificate to use at the shop!
This is a wonderful way for families to learn about what freedom means to children through creativity while supporting your local independent bookstore. All coloring pages are provided free of charge — just come in and join the fun!
