Know Before You Go: Marion Livermush Festival Saturday, June 6

We are ready for an unforgettable evening in downtown Marion, NC! Here’s everything you need to know before you join us on Saturday, June 6 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.

SCHEDULE
• 5:00 PM: Festival opens featuring livermush-inspired food, craft vendors, activities, and live music from Wiregrass at the Main Stage
• 6:00 PM: Hog Callin’ + Pig Squealin’ Contests (Main Stage)
• 6:15 PM: Carson House Youth String Band (Main Stage)
• 7:00 PM: Live music from Wiregrass (Main Stage)
• 9:00 PM: Festival ends

PARKING
City parking lots and street parking are free during the Festival and available throughout downtown. Handicap parking will be at Marion's Community Building (191 N Main St, Marion, NC 28752)

ROAD CLOSURES
Main Street will close from New Street to Henderson Street starting at 2:00 PM for event setup. Please note the area will be pedestrian-friendly, making it the perfect evening to explore downtown, enjoy the Festival, and also support local businesses.

FOURTH FRIDAY EVENT LOCATION UPDATE!

To keep everyone comfortable and dry, tonight’s Fourth Fridays event is moving to the Tailgate Market (67 W. Henderson St).

Join us tonight, Friday, May 22, from 6:30-9:00 PM for live music from Jeff Honeycutt & Co., food, drinks, and a fun evening celebrating the much-needed rain together.

Please be advised:

Following our previous appointment cancellations in October 2024 due to Hurricane Helene, we are now facing economic challenges, including rising costs for gas, groceries, and an uncertain future.

Therefore, I must cancel all remaining appointments for the women's store, effective Monday, May 18th for the remainder of May. The children's store will continue to accept appointments at this time.

We currently have a significant amount of inventory, both backstock and new items, that are not being purchased due to reduced foot traffic. I understand that everyone is being cautious with their spending, and I must also conserve resources until circumstances improve.

Appointments scheduled for June will be honored, and those whose appointments have been canceled this month are welcome to reschedule for June, as long as things improve. Please message the store page if you wish to reschedule.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I must limit further inventory purchases until current stock is sold.

We appreciate your support of local small businesses as we navigate these challenging times.
