As Summer 🌞 begins to head towards Fall 🍂, we like to look back at the annuals we planted, to see which ones performed the best.
These are some Proven Winners Goldengate Lantanas, planted at Karen Null 's house. She planted one plant in each spot in May after a rain. She never watered them after that! Each one is about 4 feet across and loaded with blooms! That's a remarkable plant!

Tropical plant spotlight
I’m in the greenhouse today focusing on our selection of philodendrons (with their ferny background, succulents in the distance). Imperial red on the right has red stems and those large green leaves. Both Pink Princess and Brazil (small one in front) are vining philodendrons, which use their air roots to cling to tree bark in a native habitat or a macrame hanger in someone’s home. Did you know that if you encourage them to vine up—rather than hang down from the pot—their leaves will grow larger?

⬇️🌸WHAT'S BLOOMING WEDNESDAY🌸⬇️

🌸Azalea, "Perfecto Mundo" ~ A hardy shrub that survives during the late summer to fall, but needs to be protected from harsh winds in the winter. They have a high resistance to bugs common to other azalea varieties! 🌸Hosta ~ They die in the winter and reliably come back up in the spring. They have beautiful and large leaves that stay attractive until winter!
