The most recently finished piece is this 16 inch ceremonial hand drum. It is #008 in the series.

The design on the head of this drum is inspired by a 3300 year old artifact found at the Tollenese battlefield in Germany. The original artifact is a lid for a container worn on a belt, it is one of 31 items found together by archeologists.

This drum is intended to reach across time and connect with people all but forgotten to enhance ceremonial practices. It also holds a secret, when held up to a light source the handle strings and the painted design align.

This specific drum already has an owner but you can order one similar to it, or we can make it however you want it to be. Every drum is a unique work of art and no two are ever the same.

Handmade drums are now available. A lot of time and attention goes into making these playable works of art. Instead of just stretching the skin and lacing it across the back, we take the extra steps necessary to sew it on which makes for a more durable and cleaner looking finish. The skin is treated with my homemade conditioner made from beeswax, coconut oil, and olive oil. Each drum comes with a be**er which is also made by us. Custom orders are available, contact us to find out more.

These 2 are ready to go and sound great. Each of these were smudged with sage, cedar, and to***co after they were made. There was a small issue at the shop where I had them displayed to sell and they got played quite regularly. I consider them "used" drums now and will be selling them at a discount.

The blue, black, and red with a leather handle is $95.

The purple moon with twine handle is $115.

Colors are not exactly as pictured. The purple is deeper than in the image.
