SUPPRESSOR UPDATE!

The short version… No—unfortunately, you can’t just walk in and leave with a suppressor same-day with how things currently stand in Wisconsin.

As many of you have probably already heard, a federal district court in Texas struck down key registration and approval requirements of the National Fi****ms Act (NFA) for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and short-barreled shotguns (Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF / Jensen v. ATF).

However, this ruling only changes things in 27 states currently. This ruling DOES NOT change how suppressors are bought or sold in Wisconsin and 14 other states. (See chart below) Gun owners and dealers in Wisconsin must continue submitting ATF eForm 4s, completing background checks, and waiting for standard approvals before taking possession of a suppressor.

As the matter develops and notable changes happen, we’ll be sure to update you through email and our social media pages!

In the meantime, it’s still as good a time as any to be purchasing suppressors, SBRs, and SBSs. We have over 400 suppressors in store right now and approval times are well under a month for most people. We do expect that availability might become an issue in the coming weeks as residents of the 27 states this currently impacts start to take advantage of it so don't wait!
