Hey guys!! I’m still here! I’ve run into a bit of a snag with the thrifting. The Keys and Florida in general, seem to be a very sustainable location. They use their belongings till they can’t anymore. Then they give them to their neighbors (Bill, my neighbor in the marina I’m currently staying in has offered me a boat.. true story.) and those in need, etc. so the thrift shops are close to empty.
With that being said, I have found a little old man named Jerry who owns a rock&mineral store and I AM IN LOVE!! His options and prices are beyond reasonable, he makes his own jewelry and polishes everything before you go, you name it.
If you’re in the market for something exotic, or just want to see some options I’d love to help him out. He’s widowed, and has devoted his life to this business. 40+ years now. He’s lived an awesome life and his stories alone are worth my trips there. 😊

Well, live and learn. Tomorrow we come in LIVE(ish) from coffee time ! I’ll knock out the rest of the clothes, and I saved the authentic Japanese kimono dress for last. Sooo, be there. Or be square. Or sleep late and watch it later on, whatever works for you
