Puddle Jumpers: Simple and Proven Ways to Raise Confident and Joyful Kids Book Event with Author Brandon Webb

Friday, May 29th, 2026

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

This event is free with no prior registration required to attend.

As a Navy SEAL performance coach, Brandon Webb once believed mental toughness came from pressure and perfection. Then he became a dad and discovered that real resilience comes from connection, not pressure. Using the same mental-performance techniques Webb used to train elite operatives, now adapted for real families, Puddle Jumpers teaches parents how to raise strong, resilient children by building confidence, understanding stress management, and creating enduring emotional connection.

Brandon Webb is a combat-decorated Navy SEAL sniper, New York Times bestselling author, Harvard Business School alumnus, and father of three happy humans.

I Am Not a Robot: My Year Using AI To Do Almost Everything
Book Event with Author Joanna Stern
In Conversation with Jim Cramer

Thursday, May 28th, 2026 — 7:30 PM–9:00 PM
This event is free with no prior registration required.

You’ve heard the hype: the AI future is going to make us healthier, return hours of free time to our overworked brains, and make discoveries previously unimaginable. But what does that truly mean? To find out, award-winning journalist Joanna Stern surrendered her life to artificial intelligence for one year. The results are both hilarious and unsettling. Filled with as little jargon as humanly (or robotically) possible, I Am Not a Robot is an AI guide for ordinary people and delivers some of the clearest — and funniest — pictures yet of what AI means for you.

Joanna Stern is an Emmy Award-winning technology journalist. She spent twelve years at The Wall Street Journal, where her personal technology columns and video series made her one of the most-watched voices in consumer tech. She now runs her own media company, producing videos and newsletters that help people navigate the tech reshaping daily life, and serves as NBC News chief technology analyst.
Jim Cramer is the host of CNBC’s “Mad Money” and co-anchor of “Squawk on the Street.” He also runs the CNBC Investing Club, aimed at helping investors build long-term wealth in the stock market. In addition, he is the bestselling author of How To Make Money in Any Market.

to participate in the New Jersey Bookstore Crawl, held June 5-7

MAPLEWOOD — will participate in the New Jersey Bookstore Crawl, a statewide event organized by Jersey Collective, from June 5-7, 2026. Shoppers who visit as well as any of the other 70 participating bookstores across New Jersey during this weekend can have their bookstore crawl guides marked and enter to win a prize.

The New Jersey Bookstore Crawl is a celebration of our state’s rich literary community, and was first held last June. This second iteration of the crawl is the same in that there is no set itinerary. Readers can choose to participate however they’d like, whether by visiting one store or by planning a road trip to try and check out as many stores as they can during the weekend.
