Nestled inside a tiny historic building, which I understand use to be a school house, is the current home to the Foster Library. So much fun to visit for story-time and a craft this afternoon. 🎶🌸

Chandeliers hung from the ceiling and music rang out!

If our dog Spartacus, played an instrument, which one would it be?? 😂🐾

We love Tanglewood and the Berkshires- forever our happy place. Although Spartacus is not allowed at Tanglewood, he loves to visit the Berkshires too and there are countless dog friendly places to visit and restaurants.

Story-time with my newest children’s book, at a place that is near and dear to my heart. A place that helped my daughter learn to love books, and a place that helped me with those early days of mother-hood. This is where I met my people, my mom-tribe.

We spent countless times with each other as our kids were growing up, aquariums, zoos, parks, mom-trips. And you know what, those relationships really helped me as a mom and I am so entirely grateful for very one of those ladies, and our friends that work (and worked) at the FLC.

If you are a parent within driving distance of Lincoln Rhode Island, make this your place. From cooking classes for kids, crafts, and story-times to free math tutoring for older kids, there is always something wonderful at the Family Literacy Center.

And after a decade, it still feels like home.

Thank you FLC, for all the storytimes and hosting mine today. ❤️ More core memories made.
