Hey, all, I’m Katie from PERCH + PAPER! I am so excited to be able to share my rendition of the Manzanita Farmers Market poster with you this year. 🩵💛🧡🩷💚

You will be able to pick up my poster at the information booth for the market this Friday! 🎉

The market opens at 4 PM so make sure to grab your poster when you get there. I’ll be there signing posters and saying hello. ☺️

While I won’t be opening up the first market with PERCH + PAPER due to damp weather and a busy graduation time for my seniors, I will be showing up regularly mid June with new artwork, new prints, and my trustee gardening cart armoire! 🌼

Friends. I have to tell you about something.

My honey and I have been part of this community for 25 years. Our five kids are Neah-Kah-Nie graduates… or soon to be. This place is in our bones. And for a long time I’ve had this idea sitting in the back of my mind that I couldn’t shake.

It’s called Perch Makers Table. And it’s coming to Manzanita.

A curated space for regional makers to show their work, a big community table where you can sit down and actually make something, and small approachable workshops led by local artists. For locals, for visitors, for anyone who needs somewhere beautiful to settle in on a rainy coast day.

This is the thing I’ve wanted to build here for a long time. We’re still in the early stages and I am completely buzzing about it.

1986… that’s when my family first drove through Wheeler, and we first saw the Wheeler Inn, and it stole the show!

Fast forward 30 years, and I’m moving my kids and myself to Wheeler.

This is where I began my art adventure, painting the scenes of the bay from the living room.

Join me this weekend at the Old Wheeler Hotel for their first annual flea market.
