Bring dad to Geyer Commons for a remarkable day of fun together! The Mansfield Philharmonic is performing from 12-2 p.m., our cottage shops are open for shopping, food trucks are onsite and the combined Juneteenth and Czech Out Mansfield festivities run from 4-9 p.m.

It’s all happening TODAY, Sunday June 21 with our friends at Visit Mansfield and Mansfield Special Events …. See you (and dad!) at the market!

Happy Saturday!

Geyer Commons shops and splash pad are open, we’ve got a Juneteenth Wellness Fair presented by Alloy Health, some sweet pups from Mansfield Animal Care and Control, Tom’s Coffee on the way and a gorgeous day ahead to come gather and play together in Historic Downtown Mansfield!

A few showers can’t dampen the fun.. Hope to see you at the market today!

UPDATE: We aware of the current weather conditions and have received plenty of questions within the past hours asking if we will cancel. We have made the difficult decision to CANCEL tonight’s planned Juneteenth festivities, due to inclement weather.

Current conditions on the field at Geyer Commons are slick and muddy and will create a less than remarkable experience for our guests. We are still trying to reschedule Juneteenth performers & vendors from tonight to Sunday for Make Music Day. More information will be released later this evening.

We are still planning to have good, warm weather for Make Music Day and Czech Out Mansfield on Sunday.

-Join Americans across the country as we ring a bell 250 times at Noon on July 4 in honor of our country’s 250th birthday! Includes a patriotic singalong, popsicles and craft from 11:30-12:30 p.m.

It's going to be a REMARKABLE week in Mansfield! Our schedule is jam-packed with family fun including lots of brand-new, hot-off-the-presses activities you don't want to miss!

Join us tomorrow at Geyer Commons for our first City Stories, where rotating Mansfield departments lead a storytime and activity to help you learn more about how our City works. This week, we're welcoming Mansfield Special Events who will read books about Juneteenth and Czechia, in celebration of two BIG events they're hosting, the Mansfield Juneteenth Celebration and Czech Out Mansfield, a festival showcasing our soccer visitors' home country!

Thursday is one of everyone's favorite days of the year... TRUCKAPALOOZA! Get an up close and personal look at the tractors, fire trucks, street sweepers and other vehicles that literally RUN this town; the fun happens at 10 a.m. at McKnight Park.

But there's SO much more than just these three... visit our website to learn more about each of the events on the calendar and be sure to sign up for Project 365 so you can RSVP, track your hours for the 100 Hours Challenge, and so much more.

Turn your lazy afternoon into a Sunday funday at Geyer Commons! Our pop up market is open, with cool drinks and tons of hot shops.

The markets are open 12-5pm today, and and of course, the splash pad is on and ready for fun from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Beat the heat with us at Geyer Commons! Tonight’s lineup includes a DJ, splash pad, balloon animals and a super special FOAM PARTY with our friends at Foam Playground! All the activities are free as part of our Unplugged Fridays, presented by Methodist Mansfield Medical Center.

SPLASH PAD UPDATE: The Geyer Commons splash pad will be out of service for the remainder of today, May 28, due to work being done on the water lines nearby. We will be back in action by 9a.m. Friday on our regular schedule, and invite you to check out one of our three other splash pads in the meantime!

Thank you for your patience as we work to keep the parks functioning in remarkable condition, all the time!
