Alpaca Meadows is a yarn store, gift shop, and farm that raises alpacas and offers a wide range of products made from alpaca fiber.

Visitors can shop in our Farm and Online Stores, schedule Alpaca Walks, Farm Tours for groups, or join one of our Classes. Experience alpacas up close and personal by taking an alpaca for a walk! A beautiful fall day for a little fiber work—and relaxing in the pasture! 🍂🦙

Tumbling, washing, dyeing, and spreading fiber out to dry … there’s a lot that happens between a freshly shorn fleece and the fiber you love to create with. Days like this make the work especially enjoyable, with sunshine, fresh air, and beautiful colors taking shape.

And of course, we had to make time to relax in the pasture and enjoy the alpacas. A lovely balance of getting things done and soaking up the day. 💛

The Farm Store is open tomorrow, Saturday, from 12–4 PM! Stop by for a little shopping and say hello to the alpacas over the fence. Our expanded holiday shopping hours begin November 4—watch for details soon!

My first alpaca sweater has a travel story woven into every stitch! 🧶🏜️

On our Spring camper trip through Colorado, Utah, Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon, I brought along my crochet projects. Between the miles and time spent relaxing, this sweater slowly took shape.

Made with Classic Alpaca Yarn, it became a special reminder of the places we explored—and the satisfaction of making something by hand.
