I just had a person try to scam me! He sent a Messenger message to be asking about jigs and said he wanted to buy some. I gave him two options for payment, and he said Venmo was fine. Then he would not provide his information so I could send a request and said he would just send the amount.

Well, he didn't send it and instead I got two emails, stating my Venmo account was restricted. It also stated that I needed to have him send me an additional $300, which I would refund back.

The email I got from "Venmo" was from a Gmail account and Venmo doesn't use Gmail.

I confronted this person and he stated exactly what the email had stated and then I knew he was trying to scam me! There's no way he could have known what an email from Venmo would have said, and I knew the email I got was fake anyway. I also spoke with a rep at Venmo and my account has no restrictions!

This was all a scam to get me to send this person $300.

The guys name that was used was Foden Chris. So for all on my friends list, that are sellers, if you get any contact from a person by that name, it's likely a scam! Pay attention and don't get scammed!

Fox hair has a fine texture, and is an excellent material for a winging material on various flies & for hair jigs. I've used fox fur & tail hair for tying many types of flies and jigs, plus the underfur works well for dubbing.

I'm now selling some tying supplies, flies & lures on Ebay.

These weights are a lesser cost alternative to tungsten nail weights. Lead nail weights for wacky rigging and other fishing applications with plastic baits. Designed to be cut into sections to achieve a desired lesser weight.

Something I have added to my product line. Hover Jigs. I have these in two styles, but not all of the same weights. I'll be pouring them on different hooks too. The top jig, shows it with a VMC Barbarian hook.

The Bible says the first time God destroyed the earth by water and he promised to never do that again. (The real meaning of the Rainbow) he went on to say I will destroy it by fire the second time. I won’t even pretend I understand all of the book of Revelation, but I do understand quite plainly that I do wish to spend eternity in Heaven. I have been hearing about the second coming of Christ and the events unfolding since I was a child. The "Mark of the Beast" Artificial Intelligence, microchips, no cash/digital currency, total government dependency/control. When we are raising a family, working long hours, some two jobs, lots of things go unnoticed or just get ignored. No one can comprehend how bad it will be, but we see it happening, bit by bit, on the news everyday. While the devil is preparing people for the Anti Christ, God is preparing people for the Rapture. I don’t know when the rapture will take place but I know that I’m not planning to be left behind when that trumpet sounds! I also believe right now that God is giving us a chance to turn our lives around and live according to His will. We need to get the Gospel message out! Until the good Lord calls me away from this world to go home, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the one and only true Lord and Savior. Despite the fact that I am human, and I fail a lot, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

I got a friend request today from "Troy Green", and turned out to be a scammer! Sent me a message asking if I had heard of a program, and I know that's one of the scams they try to pull on people!

Figured I would pass this along and let folks on my friends list know about this "person"! 😠

Green Butt Skunk fly ( Salmon or Steelhead fly) tied recently for a fly fishing forum where they have a tie along each month. The pattern is chosen ahead and everyone ties the same fly, however they need to tie it, if material substitutions have to me made.

The idea is to try & keep the fly "traditional" if possible, but not a hard rule that has to be followed. Been awhile since I had tied on of these.

This is my submission, tied on a Dai-Riki size 1/0 hook. I couldn't locate my thinner tinsel for the rib, so went with what I could find.

The wing is white hair from the tip of a Cross Fox tail, and the throat is 2 marabou tips.

I know I have some darker red for the tail too, but went with what I could find there also.

With tying for all these years and hoarding my supplies, I guess I need to organize it better, so I can find things when I need them!

My phone camera doesn't take the clearest photo either! 🙄

I got a Facebook alert/notice today, that something I have posted violates their trademarks, and they will be permanently deleting one of my business pages, if I don't respond.

The link, when I try to open it, causes my antivirus/malware software to show me an alert, stating that the page may be malicious.

The initial notice appears to be legit, and from FB, not sent to me from another members account. I don't know that it is however.

I'm confused too, because I have no idea what I may have posted that would be a violation of anyone's trademark. I have no idea what to do now.

Has anyone else ever received a notice like this?

BTW, it appears to only apply to one of my two tackle business pages, not my personal page.
