Play Magic's newest set Universes Beyond: Marvel Super Heroes in this 3 Swiss-round sealed deck tournament! Players will receive a Prerelease pack of 6 Play Boosters and build a 40-card minimum deck (with basic lands provided by the store) Players will receive 1 Play Booster prize pack per round they win of the 3 Swiss-round tournament. Players who register before end of business day on Thursday the 18th will get two Village Geek Reward stickers. Players who register on event day will receive one sticker.

Entry Fee: $30 for preregistration, $35 for day-of registration | Capacity: 40 Players

Calling all Pokémon trainers! Be among the first to experience the brand-new Pitch Black set at our official Pokémon TCG Prerelease event.

Each participant will receive a Build & Battle Box, which includes everything you need to build a 40-card deck. After a brief deck-building period, players will compete in three rounds using their newly constructed decks.

Star Wars Unlimited PreRelease – Saturday, July 11⋅12:00 – 5:00pm at BOTH The Village Geek locations

Entry fee: $30 | Capacity: 24 Players in Manhattan, 16 in McPherson

Join us as we celebrate the release of the newest set for Star Wars Unlimited - Ashes of the Empire

Each PreRelease pack contains everything you need to play in the event, including six booster packs of Ashes of the Empire, as well as two exclusive foil promo leader cards!

Players will build a 30-card deck using their PreRelease kit, then face off against each other in a casual six-round tournament. Each participant will receive a booster pack of the new set for each round win.

Whether you're testing a new deck or just getting in some practice, this event is a great way to enjoy the game during the offseason. The tournament winner will receive an exclusive playmat featuring Totodile, Tepig, and Chikorita.
