If you’ve enjoyed following Jacob’s and my journey, you won’t want to miss this! We are thrilled to announce the release of our special booklet, which shares the stories of Jacob, Mary and myself, giving each of our perspectives as a birth mother, an adoptive mother, and an adopted son who I’ve been blessed to be reunified with. 📖💖
First, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Lynelle Naquin Marse my cousin and friend, who has dedicated nearly a year to this project. She invested countless hours interviewing each of us and editing our Facebook posts to create a more cohesive narrative. You’ll also get a never-before-shared insight into the perspective of Jacob’s adoptive mom Mary Marlette. Lynn, we are forever grateful for your hard work in bringing this booklet to life! We also wish to thank Panther Printing in Fort Myers, Florida, for their support in providing extra copies and helping us share our story and get it in the hands of those who need it the most.
This booklet not only recounts our journey but also aims to inspire and support young mothers facing difficult choices. It highlights the beauty of love, hope, and the incredible tapestry that God weaves through our lives—hence the name of our booklet, “Unseen Threads.” Often, we may not understand why God allows certain things to happen, as we only see one thread of a magnificent masterpiece He is creating. Sometimes, we focus on the underside of the tapestry, unaware of how all the threads will eventually come together to form a glorious work of art. We believe God has done just that with our story, and it would be unthinkable not to share it with those who need to hear how He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We know God isn’t finished weaving our tapestry; He continues to connect our loose threads, and we’re excited to share some incredible news in the coming month or two.
