Thursday nights at the vise have turned into something special.

What started as a simple fly tying night has grown into a standing event—good patterns, better stories, and a room full of people who just get it. From first-time tiers figuring out thread control to seasoned anglers dialing in their confidence flies, or just being creative with a new cool pattern, everyone brings something to the table.

There’s always a mix of laughs, shared tips, and the kind of camaraderie you can’t manufacture. Just a group of solid people, tying flies and talking fishing.
If you haven’t made it in yet, you’re missing one of the best nights of the week.

My PB Warpaint Shiner. After years of dedication, patience, and thousands of casts… I finally landed that elusive shiner.
Did it put up a great fight? Not so much.
Did it take me out to the backing? Nope.
Did I take 12 photos and admire it like it was a trophy brown? Absolutely.
Sometimes it’s not about the size of the fish — it’s about celebrating the little wins.
