Job Description:
As a Warehouse Picker/Packer at Pantano Power Equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for fulfilling orders by locating, packing, and preparing products for shipping. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Orders: Carefully review and interpret customer orders to determine the required products.
- Find Products: Locate and pick products from designated shelves or storage areas based on order specifications.
- Pack Items: Safely and securely pack items, ensuring they are properly protected for shipping.
- Assemble Packages: Organize and assemble packages in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare for Shipping:Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and arranging them for transport.
- Transport Products: Move products within the warehouse to designated staging areas or loading docks.
- Load Items: Load packed items onto trucks or into shipping containers for delivery.
- Update Order Logs: Maintain accurate records of picked and packed items, updating order logs and inventory systems as needed.
- Verify Outgoing Products: Ensure all outgoing products are verified, recorded, and meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or packing experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic computer skills for updating order logs and inventory systems
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
