My husband Tim and I live in Southern Oregon on a goat farm with 20 pet goats, a llama, a donkey, ducks and our little dog, Checkers. We make farm art, critter art, and so much more! I have begun making "collages", an art form based on using many bits of paper or objects to fo

rm a likeness of your beloved dog. All you do is email a photo of your dog and I create a framed work of art! I am making custom dog leash holders as well that can be personalized. Take a look at all that are done. We like to repurpose as much as possible. We try to be original, fun and creative. You never know what could end up in our shop! We also have a variety of vintage items we feature too. I began to create items for Etsy.com such as copper plant stakes, Christmas ornaments of my farm animals, especially goats. (my favorite!) The coordination, concentration and dexterity is very helpful with my Parkinson's Disease. That is the reason for the wide variety of crafts, because as the illness progresses, different skill sets are needed. Tim found working with Native Oregon Juniper so interesting he began making various products and found it was well suited to many uses, such as juniper coat racks, wine racks, bat houses and planter boxes. I know it is not even Halloween yet, but crafters have to start early.
This is a sneak peek at my new GIANT Pine Cone Ribbon ornaments for 2016. They measure 5" H x 4" W plus hanging ribbon. They make great tree ornaments, gift hangers, bottle hangers, bowl fillers.
They will be for sale at Hope Community Bazaar on Nov. 12th or at the Malin Bazaar on Nov. 18th and 19th. These Giant pine cones sell for $10. each. Smaller versions will also be available.

It seems like forever since I posted anything for Polka Dot World, but now that the heat outside is lessening, I am all geared up again! I have been busy acquiring some great items that are in my new booth spaces at Keeper's Corner and I am getting back into my crafts.
Take a look at some of these great buys I just brought in. One new booth space is in the window on the left as you face Keeper's Corner from outside and also the space numbered B-C111 that adjoins the window space (where all the gorgeous hand-painted signs are.)

Easter is just one week away! Do you have your centerpiece for your Easter table? Here are three possibilities, all created by me. The first one features a real nest from my lilac tree, and is surrounded by beautiful faux blooms and eggs in a lovely re-usable urn. Price $15.

All of the arrangements I make are easily dis-assembled so that you can fill them throughout the year with whatever you choose, such as blooms from your garden (when we finally have some!)
The center photo features a re-usable vintage lamb planter holding a bunch of very realistic daffodils and has a tiny lamb nestled in with the flowers. A bright orange carrot tops it off.
Price $12.

The last photo is a vintage, re-usable wire egg basket filled with decoupaged eggs, decorated with tiny rosebuts and sparkly gems.

Who doesn't love dogs? The pups on my new domino pendants are all finding new homes. Do you see any here that look like your babies? If so, consider a sweet tribute to everyone's best friend!
