⚡️5 FAT LOSS TIPS ⚡️
There are lots of alternative methods for fat loss like fad diets or supplements and although you may see results using these, they aren’t long term solutions ❌
The reason for that is sustainability. Once the fad diet has ended or you stop buying supplements and return to a normal eating routine – when I say normal I mean eating regular food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will notice that the weight you lost goes back on 👎🏼
To lose weight AND keep it off there is no quick fix...
1. Calorie counting – in order to lose weight, you need to be in a slight calorie deficit and maintain this! Aim for this value every single day 🔄
2. Eating clean – probably an obvious tip but it’s important so it makes the list. The cleaner you eat – so cutting out things like saturated fats and sugars and increasing your protein intake and hitting your 5-a-day will help boost your metabolism (meaning you burn calories at a quicker rate)🔥
3. Train frequently – Consistency is key. Going to the gym and training well for 1 week and skipping it the next isn’t going to make long term changes. To make lasting change, you need to be exercising regularly 📆
4. Lift weights!- For the ladies reading this, lifting weights won’t make you bulky or muscular. Weight training burns more calories than any treadmill session, boosts your metabolism and promotes post-workout calorie burn (your body continues to burn calories even after you’ve stopped working out!)🏋🏼♀️
5. Rest – that’s right, rest is just as important as exercising. This is the time your body changes, grows and recovers. It’s also important to get 7-9 hours of consistent sleep per night 😴
If you stick to these 5 tips regardless if you’re a beginner or if you’ve been training for a while, you will see results!
