My idea of fishing? 🎣🐟

Knitting fish socks on the boat while everyone else deals with the hooks, worms, and touching the actual fish. 😂🧦

Honestly though… this little sock is giving me all the summer lake vibes already and I cannot wait to share the full design with you. What type of fishing do you enjoy?

✨ Something colorful is coming…

This Friday I’m releasing a brand new pattern called the Aurora Cowl.

This design was originally created for the Summer Camp Fibers 2025 Advent Box and was inspired by the glowing colors of the northern lights and the idea of riding a gondola through a magical place called Glowland.

The cowl uses 12 DK mini skeins that slowly shift colors as you knit around the project, creating a glowing background that reminds me of the aurora dancing across the sky.

It’s such a fun knit to watch come to life.

The pattern releases Friday, and email subscribers will get a launch discount. Comment EMAIL and I’ll send you a link to sign up for the discount.

Also - Summer Camp Fibers will have a limited number of Aurora Cowl Original Kits available so be on the lookout if you want my original colors.

Are you looking to learn how to knit colorwork this year? My new Winter Carnival Bulky Hat is a fan favorite for beginner colowork knitters. There are even local yarn stores that use it for beginner classes.

What makes it great for getting started? I specifically designed this pattern so that each row only uses 2 colors at a time and with a 6 stitch chart the floats are minimal. Meaning your tension will look great and with 4 colors used throughout the pattern it looks more complicated than it is. Your friends will be impressed!
