RelicDigs Vintage Resale My lifelong passion for thrifting has inspired me to share my love of vintage finds with others by opening an Etsy shop, RELICDIGS.

Last year, I traveled across the country in search of a variety of vintage treasures. I witnessed so much natural beauty and met so many wonderful people. I can't wait for you to see all of the amazing vintage goods that I acquired along the way (each one with its own story). This page is a space to showcase these gems, share decorating ideas, and connect with a community of vintage enthusiasts. Join me on this journey by Liking and Following for the latest updates.

I have to share this story of the lone Magi.
As a reseller I find great joy in rehoming interesting pieces that I find while thrifting. I recognized him as a piece of Oaxacan pottery from Mexico so I thought someone else might appreciate his uniqueness. It took some time but eventually he sold to a lady that collects Magi. She left me an awesome review but that wasn’t the best part. I received a handmade card in the mail from her with our Magi as the photo. I was so touched that she took the time to send it to me. It restored some of my faith in humanity. Thank you for your kindness.

I hope everyone is enjoying the nice fall weather. The brief cool spell we had this past week has put me in the mood for bonfires and outdoor events. My favorite outdoor activity is thrifting, and I love to share unusual things that I come across. I recently added this trinket box to my shop. Its history is fascinating. The top is made of a shard of antique porcelain from a piece of pottery guaranteed to be 75 to 100 years old. It's a great way to preserve a piece of history that would otherwise be lost if the pottery was damaged. Sometimes it's hard to let things go - I want to keep them all, but this will be available in my Etsy shop linked here.

Sometimes when I'm sourcing for the shop I run across something so amazing it takes my breath away and I have to share it. Such is the case with this vintage Japanese Kutani Moriage Dragonware Tea Set which dates to the early 1900s. The moriage technique is a style of painting with slip (thick liquid clay) which gives the piece a raised texture. It originated in the Kutani region of Japan. I'm definitely channeling some Game of Thrones vibes here! Who's ready for some tea?

The fall season is coming fast and I couldn’t be happier! Fall is my favorite time of the year. I guess one reason is because it is full of all my favorite colors; rich browns, deep golds, dark reds, and oranges. I, for one, am delighted that decorating trends are bringing back color and dark wood tones. For the past few years, all the trends seemed to lean towards white, beige, and neutral colors. This girl is ready for some c-o-l-o-r, and I’ve put together a fall collection of goodies that can add that rich fall color feeling to your interior. Check them out and tell me what you think. What colors are your favorites?

This enamel-on-copper dish is one of my favorite finds from last week. It is so reminiscent of the '60s and '70s mid-century modern decor style. I remember this being such a popular art form from that era. I'm really glad this is back in style...I love it!
