Anthony Ward,a commodities trader with hedge fundArmajaro Holdings,bought 241,000 tons of cocoa beans -- the equivalent of all of Europe's supply --for £658million, or more than$1 billion, according to British newspaper reports, the biggest single purchase in 14 years.

The summer solstice has arrived and so have summer seasonal chocolates! Find Lychee Orange Blossom, Mojito Bliss, Raspberry Chipotle and Woodford Reserve at the Hilldale shop. And not quite ready, but returning soon, Lemongrass Citron! These are not at the online store yet - but they will be shortly.

The results of our Father's Day survey are in and 82.4% plan to give David Bacco Chocolats for Father's Day! Running a distant second, with 17.6% of the votes, was a Homemade "World’s Best Dad" ashtray – er, coffee mug. Not to be left out, Grateful Dead necktie (vintage 1990) and Soap on a Rope came in with 5.9% each. and NO takers on Polo cologne. Thanks for your answers - now don't forget Dad on Sunday!
