There is something really special about walking through this little shoppe.

Every shelf represents someone who took a chance. Someone who had an idea, created it with their own hands, and decided to share it with the world. Some of our makers started with just a few items and a dream. Today, they’re growing businesses, meeting loyal customers, and becoming part of a community that truly celebrates them.

That has always been what Michigan Roots is about.

Yes, we sell beautiful handmade items, but more importantly, we believe in the people behind them. We believe in encouraging each other, celebrating creativity, and showing everyone that buying local truly changes lives.

As we head into the holiday season, I get excited thinking about all the families who will walk through our doors looking for something meaningful. Every holiday season brings new faces, new stories, and new opportunities for our makers to shine.

Our Bag Charms & Keychain Workshop is happening this Friday at Armade In MI, but registration is currently lower than we need to hold the class.

💙 Happy Tuesday, friends! 💙

There have been so many emotions lately.

More than anything, I would love to see this little shoppe continue to call Madison Heights home. This community has been absolutely incredible. Being able to build something in my hometown has had a bigger impact on my life than I could have ever imagined.

Each of you has played a part in this journey. You’ve celebrated the highs with me, stood beside me through the challenges, and reminded me time and time again why this little shoppe has meant so much.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything comes together as planned. If it does, I hope you’ll discover even more amazing makers, continue finding unique gifts that travel all over the world, and help us keep making Madison Heights and our surrounding communities proud.
