We sell flowers every day of the week from our walk-in "self-service" cooler that is open to the public. Folks can buy flowers by the bunch, pre-mixed bouquets, mason jar arrangements or get in touch with us about a custom order. We are open March- October (or first frost) from 9 am to 6 pm. If there is no one at the farm don't worry as it is self service and there are shopping instructions. Whene

PARKING TIPS: as many of you know we have very limited parking, but street parking will be available for those who don’t mind a stroll. You can always drive down to the farm gate and drop off guests you are coming with so they don’t have to walk so far. Carpooling is highly encouraged!

We will have parking attendants that will be ready to help you when you arrive!

We have our entire plant selection available at the farm Tuesday- Saturday 9-6 until June 1st!

These aren’t what you’re gonna find at Lowe’s….all tried and true favorites of our farm of interesting and unique annual and perennial plants.

CUT FLOWERS- cosmos, marigold, gomphrena, celosia, strawflower, calendula, scabiosa, zinnia, winged everlasting, basketflower + more

NATIVES- anemone canadensis, mountain mints, columbine, goldenrod, yarrow, echinacea + more

Our Jubilee Season:

We sowed the first seeds in this soil in 1995. That’s 30 years of stewarding the land and sharing fresh cut flowers with our community.

In celebration of this milestone, we will be holding a season of Jubilee from June, 2025 to February, 2027. The farm will not be in operation during this time. The land will be at rest, making space for rejuvenation and sustainability when the farm gate reopens.

Historically, a Jubilee is a sacred time of letting go. A period where each returned to their own - liberation, rest, and joy rooted in deep spiritual significance. These happened every 50 years, so we’re taking ours a bit early- but hey, it’s time.

We would not be able to do this without having received unwavering support from our Lynchburg community over the past 30 years. We still see folks at our farm who purchased bouquets from us at the downtown market so many years ago. We feel incredibly grateful to have a loyal community who values our work and our flowers.

We want to acknowledge the people who took care of this land before us, without whom we would not be here today. Thank you to our ancestor, Benjamin Franklin Moomaw, the farmers who tended this soil before him, and the members of the Monacan Nation who were the land’s original caretakers.

The farm is a living entity, herself. Bigger than any one farmer, or family, she envelopes all the life that coexists here. We feel blessed to bear witness to her cycles and to be completely at her whim. In this season, we will focus on replenishing the soils, sequestering carbon, and fostering a habitat for life to thrive.

To celebrate 30 years and our Jubilee, we will be gathering at the farm on Saturday, May 31st. We invite you all to join us in the garden, where we will enjoy good food, live music, and of course, lots of flowers. We will see y’all there. Thank you!

$35 for a reusable cup to pick into! 2 kids (under 12) can come for free for the price of one cup. 🤸
