The community can help local families build safe and affordable homes by donating to or shopping at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore because every purchase of quality home furnishings and construction supplies goes directly towards the cause of building new homes, communities, and hope. From used, but “refurbish-able” kitchen cabinets to brand new leather sofas, you’ll likely find what you’re looking for in the ReStore! WELL, the 2026 Women's Build for the Greater Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity has been officially kicked off, and Lloyd wanted to tell you some behind-the-scenes info.

His mother crocheted three afghans for the Women's Build, to be raffled off to benefit the Women's Build 2026. ALL proceeds go toward the Women's Build.

Details will follow soon, but tickets are $5 each, and are for a specific afghan. (So you could buy three tickets, once for each afghan).

Drawings will be held on September 19th, and winners will be notified that they may pick up their hand-crafted afghans at The ReStore.
