Okay back to the note:

As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what we achieved together and share my heartfelt gratitude with you. Your unwavering support throughout last year, especially in November and December, has left me deeply humbled and inspired.

On November 15th, 2024, I shared a vulnerable post about how Mosaic Collective had faced a tough year with declining sales. It was difficult to open up about these challenges, but I trusted that our incredible community would show up—and you absolutely did.

Some of you may know we had a goal of 1,200 orders between November 15th, 2024 and December 31st, 2024 – with your support we reached 931 orders in that timeframe!!!

Because of you, November and December became the best months we’ve ever had in the history of Mosaic Collective!! Your purchases, shares, and advocacy helped us end the year on a high note, and I can’t thank you enough for being part of this journey.

Your impact goes far beyond our shop walls. Through your support, you’ve joined us in advocating for the vulnerable and survivors around the world. Well my friends, because of YOU I’m thrilled to share an incredible milestone: we’ve officially reached 603 orders! Your support has propelled us past the halfway mark toward our year-end goal of 1,200 orders, and words can’t express how grateful I am.

Now, with just 597 orders to go in the next 27 days, we’re within reach of something transformative. Reaching this goal will allow us to not only recover from a hard year BUT also set us up for this year, 2024 to be the best year of sales for Mosaic to date. That is an immense blessing that I could have never saw coming until this community showed up BIG TIME.

As I’ve mentioned, next year, construction is set to take place right outside our storefront for at least six months. While I’m staying hopeful that the impact will be minimal, it’s essential to prepare for potential disruptions. Meeting this year’s goal will give us the stability we need to navigate whatever comes our way.

20 days ago, I reached out to you for help—to get Mosaic back on track, finish the year strong, and set ourselves up for success in 2025. And wow, did you show up in a BIG way.

Since then, 469 orders have been placed, and every single one has been an incredible blessing. I don’t say this lightly—thank you, truly, it means the absolute world.

Your support has already made a tremendous impact, but the journey isn’t over yet! To fully recover and create a safety net for the challenges ahead, we need one final push to close out the year strong.

Next year brings a new obstacle: construction will take place right outside our storefront for at least half the year. While I remain hopeful it won’t impact us too much, I have to prepare for the possibility of reduced foot traffic.

So, here’s where we stand: we need 531 orders in the next 27 days. While that may be ambitious I know it is possible, ONLY with your help.

If you still need to get some Christmas shopping done or need a little ‘treat yoself moment’ would you consider placing an order with us? Our target is an average order value of $50. I want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has placed an order with us this holiday season. After my post opening up about where we’re at — you have shown up in ways that have given me hope and determination.

Since then, 358 orders have been placed—each one a reminder of the power of community and the impact we can create together.

Your support has inspired me to set a bold goal: reach 1,200 orders by the end of the year. If each order averages around $50, it would completely change Mosaic’s trajectory.

We could pay down our debt and enter 2025 with a buffer to face a new challenge—construction outside our shop that’s expected to last over six months, likely impacting foot traffic and sales. Preparing for this now is critical, and your continued support makes that possible.

Here’s where we stand: 842 orders to go by year-end. That’s about 28 orders a day, and while it’s ambitious, I believe we can do it—with your help.

Important update on Mosaic that I shared with our newsletter fam earlier this morning but also wanted to share with our friends here too. I’ve been blown away by your support from one simple post even though being vulnerable is not my favorite thing. 😅🫠 We could really use your support this holiday season. ❤️

Coming to your inbox with the raw and the real this morning. I’m going to be honest, this year has been a challenging one for Mosaic Collective. Things haven’t turned out as I had hoped. I had high expectations for 2024, and facing the reality of falling short has been hard.

Can I share something personal with you? The next 44 days of this year will largely determine how/if Mosaic makes it into 2025.

As a business, we’re still carrying debt from our opening last year, and we’ve experienced a decline in monthly sales throughout 2024. This makes it difficult to pay down debt and position ourselves for sustainable growth and impact in the coming year.

For example, while November 2023 saw daily sales of around $300-$500, we’ve had some bright days this month but also several where we only made $15.

We’re navigating these challenges as best we can, but the truth is, we can’t do it without your support.

It’s honestly really humbling sharing information like this but I want to be transparent with you on where we’re at. We want to keep this business moving forward so we can not only support ourselves but more importantly the survivors and vulnerable people we help employ with our partner organizations.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. I say all of this to ask that you would consider shopping with Mosaic Collective this holiday season, The purchase of even one necklace, keychain, bath bomb, etc. makes a huge difference for us and I mean it when I say it does not go unnoticed.
