It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here. Been crazy busy with everything else in life and haven’t really done a lot work wise. I plan to start working on some things to sell soon. These items will be made in an attempt to raise money for my mother as she is in the hospital with stage four squamous cell carcinoma that started on the inside of her lip and had grown into a tumor that has gotten into her bones on the left side of her face and into the lymph nodes of her neck. She does not currently have insurance but they are trying to get her set up on disability and Medicare. She is currently in one hospital where she received lots of great care and got a feeding tube out in last night. They want to build her strength up over the next couple weeks and sending her then to Emory in Atlanta where she will likely be for a few months. That’s where the major surgeries including reconstructive surgery, will take place. My dad has dementia and can’t stand to be away from her for long. I am the only person they have and can not take care of my home and kids and my dad and have a job ..so I will continue to stay home with them..and there will be lots of traveling in the near future, so I am trying through multiple ways to take donations for any appointments they have coming up that she may have to pay up front for, gas for traveling back and forth. (2 hours each way once they move her and just under an hour one way where she is right now). My dad wants to be with her as much as he possibly can.
