Had some help getting the haybine hooked up and extra eyes to go through everything. Needed a new tire, changed pretty much all the little knives (about 35 of them), greased and oiled chains. All in all about 4-5 hours to get it ready.

Forgot about this gem from cutting the grass.....I have been pretty level headed, dealt with crap in the moment, low freak out point. THIS did me in.

First off I thought i broke the belt which for as many times as I had it smoking not a surprise. Was mad but went in the shed got the spare belt and went to change it. Discovered the belt was actually intact. Just jumped off the pulleys. I have helped Dennis do this many times over the years and consider myself pretty mechanically inclined. I fought with it over and over.

Went and got the manual. I can read a diagram and figure crap out. That diagram was good for s**t!! Tried you tube and chat gpt and got nowhere cuz apparently lawnmowers over 20 years old don't exist online AND we gave a 4 pulley system not a 3 or 5.

Finally caved and called my dad and he came the next morning to help me. Had to get out the manual again and he managed to figure it out. Then I looked at the deck and the diagram and asked him how the hell he got it figured out from that dumb picture. He started drawing the pulleys on the picture for me and stopped half way through and says "well that aint right either you have an extra pulley".......I snapped a pic printed it out and added it to the manual. Not getting caught with that again.
