Cultivars are bred off of native plants. The downside to these over natives is often times the nectar or pollen reward can be diminished, and it becomes less beneficial. This summer wine ninebark by proven winners is providing enough of a nectar reward to keep many mason bees visiting it all day. Plants smart, and support native pollinators.

Wow! All of the Massachusetts Growing Wild garden kits have been taken home! Thank you to everyone that came out to support the pollinators and local ecology by choosing to plant native.

We here at Lakeview are passionate about this, and are happy to invite you to celebrate all of June for National Pollinator Month.

We will have native plants stocked for sale, as well as free educational events during our Pollen Fest!
