Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a great holiday.
I have enjoyed having this week off and relaxing. I started and finished this project this week. I wanted to try making a bag (I did one years ago, but I don't even remember the pattern I used). I got some nice yarn from someone who was giving it away. It was pretty easy to work up. I think it turned out well. I am debating on whether or not to add a liner inside. Any thoughts will be appreciated. I am thinking of listing it on Etsy for $15, it is not listed there yet because I have to take time to do measurements.

Local friends, I'll be at the Christmas Bazaar in Wayne County this Saturday from 10am- 1pm. Come check out what I have!

My friend will also have her stuff there. She sells beautiful items made in Ukraine. Aprons, kitchen towels, and table runners.

Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas!

It has been a busy season. I have been working hard on getting my Christmas items made and up for sale. I'm working on getting into a few local Bizaars and Christmas events. I'll let you know when I have more firm details. I also started teaching in my own classroom, which has taken a lot more time than I thought it would, but love my kids!

Happy Labor Day! Hope you had a good long weekend. We traveled since and are now getting ready to go back to school and work tomorrow
I just finished two Christmas tree skirts with the new yarn. It was fun to work with.
This week I'm going to work on getting my Christmas stuff up on Etsy.

I bought some new, bigger crochet hooks to use with the thicker yarn. I can now use the second crochet hook case I made.

I got some new yarn! We live in an area with lots of military people, so there are always people moving in and out. Which means they are decluttering and giving stuff away for free or cheap. This was from a nag of yarn someone was giving away. I haven't really used the thick yarn before so I am excited to try some projects with it.

This is another project I have worked on for a Christmas season launch. This is one that my grandma made and I have replicated (with the help of a pattern that I found in craft things I got from her). I still need to figure out how I am going to do the top with a hook or loop and the bottom to make it look nice.

Even though I haven't' been posting, I have been working on my Christmas projects and some headbands (haven't taken pictures yet). I have made these six stockings. They are all the same pattern, I like the options of colors for the stocking and cuffs and will continue to work on more.
I am hoping to have a booth/table at at least one Christmas fair/bizarre around us. I will also post these on my Etsy shop soon. When do you think is a good time to post Christmas items? I was thinking of starting in September.

I've started back at work (school) this week. The kids start back to school on Tuesday and we have been working hard getting the school and classrooms ready after a whole school renovation this year.
I am a special education paraprofessional. I love what I do and working with the kids. I also love crocheting and creating things. I am in the process of figuring out how I am going to balance everything. I am still working on Christmas projects, but will probably post less, 2-3 times a week hopefully.
