Thank you Ludington Hobbies for supporting us by not only donating gift cards for our winners but graciously allowing us to close for the day so our hard working staff could also enjoy this beautiful day at the farm!

Thank you John Honyoust and Mark Cole for coming out and getting their hands dirty in helping us in building a crawler course and advising on the overland comp.

Thank you Jason Wygant for charging up the overland comp and roasting the pig.

Happy birthday to my Dad who would have been 84 years old yesterday and owned this farm prior to being handed down to me. He was a Marine and proud American born on flag day. He farmed pigs and threw a monster of a pig roast here every year when I was young. Also a former race car driver. This day was in honor of him and everything he loved. I miss you every day.

Most of all - Thank you to all of you who took time to come play with us and make precious memories. You truly mean the world to us. We are a community. We are family.

The store is closed tomorrow because all of us are going to the Wilwin Fundraiser / Crawler Comp at the farm.

UPDATE

This traffic detail has ended.

**** TRAFFIC ALERT ****

Between 3:30pm and 5:00pm today 6/11/26, two heavy loads will be traveling on Pere Marquette Highway from Oceana Drive. The convoy will be turning west on Meisenheimer Rd and then north onto Lake Shore Drive ending at Consumers Pump Storage.

The heavy load will be taking up the entire width of the road. If traveling on the above listed roads during that time frame, please pull completely off the road, in a driveway, or onto a different street if you see emergency lights flashing ahead of you.

I’ve been asked about the crawler comp this Sunday as I’ve posted crawler course pics.

For clarity…

The comp is going to be trail; overland style. It will be a sizable trek through woodland paths with natural obstacles along the way.

NO hands of God permitted. You must winch. There will be grounded winch points, not hand held winch sticks.

If enough people show, we will run in teams, which will be chosen by random.

Jason Wygant (former assistant manager in our Manistee store) will be your guide.

As for other RC areas…

1) We have a large dirt oval (with available paths to utilize for figure 8s for the brave).

2) We also have a good sized freestyle track that is capable of bearing large scale trucks.

3) Recent photo depicts our crawler course.

Those three areas will be open free play June 14 so bring what you’d like to play with.
