One of three hopping centers for nutrition resources -- Clearlake Highlands Senior Center and Lakeport Senior Activity Center are providing "take-out" and "home delivered" meals for crowds that are growing every day.

NCO is also supporting a new county-wide volunteer project to assist the Lakeport Senior Activity Center to reach out to as many older adults in the county as possible. For every person who is counted in Lake County, the Department of Social Services receives around $2,000 a year (for ten years) due to our economic status, and these funds provide a lot of help for people in need.
