First market of the season ✔️This week was all our first blooms of the season: buplureum, mint, pea foliage, stock, penstemon, Veronica, feverfew, and a few of the last peonies!

We want to try something *new* around here… sometimes we sell out at on Sundays, but often times there are a couple bouquets leftover… so!!! we’d love to start donating one (or more if we have them!) to a mama in the community every week.

We’ll simply post a recap of the market and pictures of the bouquets and then ask you to nominate a local mama in the comments!

Delivery to Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor, Johnstown, and Berthoud available. Any other areas will have to pick up!

Giveaway ends Monday at 5pm.

Who would you love to see receive these flowers? 👇🏼 Tag as many people as you’d like!

Meet Strawberry 🍓& Waffles 🧇

The newest members of the Poppy family 🐶🫶

They weren’t really part of our 2026 plan 🙃 but they are the sweetest most perfect babies and are going to do so great on the farm.

They are currently at “puppy camp”, aka our literally amazing neighbors ( and ), to learn how to be livestock guardian dogs from their 6 year old boys- Winston and Brother- who are such great mentors to our pups.

We can’t wait to share more puppy cuteness soon. 🥰🥰🥰

A little glimpse into the magic of our first Poppy’s Play Garden ✨🌈

This week’s theme was colors, and the kids spent the morning mixing, pouring, painting, exploring, and discovering. From rainbow water stations and nature watercolor prints to color-inspired songs and quiet moments curled up with books inside the Magic House.

Thank you to the families who joined us. We can’t wait to gather again.

🌿 Next Poppy’s Play Garden: Friday, June 12
🍯 Theme: potions!

Sometimes the clearest mission statement comes from a 5-year-old.

That’s it. That’s the vision.

Not just growing flowers, but growing a place where people, animals, and nature are cared for together. A place where childhood can stay a little wild, community can feel a little closer, and beauty can be part of everyday life.

Thanks, my girl, for mirroring that back today.

Little feet running. Mud pies. Water play. Tiny hands collecting treasures. Stories under the trees. New friendships. A little bit of magic.

This Friday, we’re softly opening Poppy’s Play Garden—a gentle, nature-based gathering space for little ones and their grown-ups to slow down, explore, create, and connect.

Think sensory invitations, open-ended play, nature crafts, animals, flowers, and plenty of room for curiosity and creativity to unfold.

If you’ve been looking for a place where wonder still lives, we’d love to welcome you.

A little spring tradition we’ve come to love 🦋
We watched tiny caterpillars grow, form their chrysalises, and today we released them by the creek.

Painted lady butterflies help pollinate flowers, support healthy ecosystems, and serve as an important food source for birds and other wildlife.

Healthy butterfly populations often signal a healthy ecosystem with good plant diversity and low chemical use. We hope to see more on the property as time goes by!

This morning I woke up early to start designing in my pajamas. I carefully processed all the stems of pink in a moving meditation. I added each stem to the bouquet with intention, smelling the sprigs of mint as they found their place framing the blooms. I found myself thinking about my brothers who died in their 20s. The bouquet started to get too big to hold in one hand and I started to think about the weight grief takes up in our life when we don’t let it move and transform. So I kept adjusting my grip to let the stems fall into place. As I placed the last stem in the bouquet I found myself on the verge of tears, thinking about this young 21 year old woman who I never met, but who loved pink and whose casket these would rest upon. I envisioned her family seeing these flowers in her hand and remembering the true essence of who she was and the impact she had. This is the threshold of where flowers become more than “pretty things” and instead they offer us something sacred to hold onto when words fail. A bridge between love and loss. A way for beauty to witness grief, and for grief to soften just enough to let love keep moving.
